Description	Written from the Eastern Steam Navigation Company at 13 Gresham Street, London. The letter confirms that Brunel's letter from 19th December about the remuneration for his professional services and for the expenses he has incurred during his work on the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's great ship has been discussed by the Company Directors to their satisfaction. The letter copies a resolution passed by the Court of Directors accepting Brunel's proposals regarding his remuneration and tendering the Directors' thanks to Brunel for his liberality on the project.
