Title | Letter from William Patterson to the firm of James and Nevill of Tavistock Street, Plymouth |
Description | Written from Bristol. The letter gives a good recommendation for Brownings Patent Composition for painting and preserving the bottoms of ships which continues to be well used in Bristol. Patterson exemplifies the efficacy of Brownings solution with an anecdote about its use on the S.S. Great Britain and confirms that he will be using Brownings on the hull of the ship that he is now building in Chester. |
