DescriptionWritten from 37 Great George Street, London. The letter explains that John Scott Russell also identified the points that Brunel has raised about some photographs of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's great ship under construction and will give the photographer new instructions and informs Brunel that the last of the engine cylinders will be cast the next day. The photographs referred to may have been those commissioned by the Eastern Steam Navigation Company from the firm of Cundall and Howlett as a record of the progress in the construction of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship.
