Title | Letter from John Scott Russell to Isambard Kingdom Brunel |
Description | Written from 37 Great George Street, London. The letter agrees to Brunel's suggestion that the work on the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's steam ship should be roofed over to allow work to go faster and promises that Russell is doing what he can to speed up work on the ship and also promises to incorporate Brunel's various suggestions into the ongoing work. The letter also mentions the completion of the calculations for the displacement and capacity of the ship and the strengthening and extension of the floors and promises to send an amended plan of the ship.
