TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to John Scott Russell
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, London. The letter explains the Brunel is quite happy with the plan that Russell has prepared for the part of his shipyard that is to be leased to the Eastern Steam Navigation Company but wonders if Russell is sure that it is big enough, particularly for the future. The letter also reminds Russell that Brunel is still awaiting the small scale longitudinal drawing of the ship and engine parts to be included with the contract. The page has been hand-numbered as Folio 180h in the the top outside corner of the page while the reverse of the page is un-numbered and blank. The facing page (reverse of Folio 180g) is blank.
