Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Henry Wollaston Blake
Description
Written from 18 Duke Street, London. The letter criticises Blake for the delay in preparing the initial drawings for the screw engine that his firm is building for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company while at the same time, John Scott Russell has prepared several iterations of drawings for Brunel to discuss and many decisions have been made with him as to the exact form of the engines, the construction methods and specific dimension and various design details that need to be decided upon. The page has the number 180c handwritten in the top outside corner while the reverse of the page is un-numbered. The facing page (the reverse of Folio 180b) is blank.
