TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to John Yates, secretary of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, London. The letter suggests that, unless Yates can find a better, simpler way of sorting out the share arrangements for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company, then he might be better off putting the matter in the hands of the company's solicitor. The letter also describes the prices that Watts tendered for and explains that Brunel has combined tenders for both a large and small engine into one contract.
