The letter requests Blake send Brunel a small drawing of the engines and boilers that can be attached to the contract between Watt & Co and the Eastern Steam Navigation Company. Brunel also mentions two points that he wishes to discuss before the drawings are made relating to the pitch of the screw and the arrangement of the boiler.
