Description	Written from 23 Oxford Terrace, Hyde Park, London. The letter accompanied a recent and detailed chart of the River Hooghly [Bhagirathi-Hooghly or Hugli], a river in India. The letter details parts of the river that are subject to constant change and are not easily charted, details some of the annotations that Langden has made on the chart and describes the likelihood of a steamship of the Great Eastern's projected size being able to access the river at certain times of the year and offers any further advice or assistance that he can.
