DescriptionIn 1944 Penguin proposed a project to produce a small atlas (edited by Professor G.H. Kimble) and a large or International atlas (edited by Dr Edward Lynam). The project was abandoned in 1946.

Correspondence between Penguin Books Ltd. (Eunice Frost, A.S.B. Glover, Allen Lane, Richard Lane) and Professor G.H. Kimble concerning his editorship of a proposed small atlas and his proposed Puffin Picture Book with S.R. Badmin 'Finding Your Way About', both of which were abandoned by Penguin in 1946, 1944-1947.
